Meeting your new step-parents 👀

I tried to get as much perspective from different children of divorce to get an idea of how they found their step-parents to be. 90% of the daughters complained about the stepmothers and 90% of the sons complained about the stepfathers. so here you are asking yourself the question, why is it that these cases are so frequent? Dear ladies/gentlemen, not even my 5th psychologist could answer that question. now that you are older you can gather some reasons yourself such as:

1. jealousy
2. they might have their own kids from previous relationships
3. they might have had children with your mom/dad, thus causing the confusion of having a half-brother/sister
4. they might have followed different rules (no TV after 6 and cartoons might cause you to never go to Heaven)
5. no Respect- this goes both ways!
